5 Charming Jewelry DIYs for the Merry Month of May

Hooray! It's May! A great time for celebrations of every kind - weddings (including royal ones), graduations, proms, promotions and flights of fancy. With those in mind, we hope you enjoy our latest DIYs. You'll find most of the items mentioned below are in our May 11 or Apr 11 new arrivals.

Anne made the beautiful pink and black polka dot cha cha bracelet above with our chain maille link charm bracelet, some of our pink rose beads, pink and black jewelry maker's mixes, and pink/gold lampwork beads. She secured all of her dangles with some of our head pins and jump rings. You cannot have a bad day once you pick up this bracelet!

We really love packing your orders. So, too, apparently do Will and Kate!  Imagine our surprise when they stopped in after their

busy week to say "hi" and pack a few sets of freebies with us before they continued down the Californiia coast on their top-secret honeymoon. They left even happier than when they arrived - we really do have tons of fun packing up your goodies and freebies!

Our friend and co-worker Helen just got off the plane from England and brought us much-needed Will and Kate memorabilia – I’m happy just looking at the tea towel and Commemorative Pictoral Tin with shortbread! (But let's face it, we'll cave at some point and open it). You may catch us Windexing the tin from time to time....it's lovely!

Helen made up these incredibly sweet earring pairs and bracelet with our encased rose lampwork glass rounds. If you haven’t yet tried them, you should – they’re very easy to use even for beginning beaders with beautiful, romantic, sweet results

Anne was especially inspired after our royal visit to make a beautiful cha cha bracelet and with our Blue Jewelry Maker’s mix and our Chain Maille Bracelet form. She

made tons of little dangles while chatting up the royal pair, then attached them to with jump rings to the bracelet form. Simple, easy, done! Beautiful!

Anne also made a very sweet  "Key to My Heart"little ball chain necklace that would be perfect for mother, daughter, a brand new big sister ~ lots of possibilities, variations, but very quick to do! Key to my Heart Necklace

Facebook Bracelet and Earrings Kim, feeling slightly overwhelmed by all the Royal festivities, coupled with the pending e-newsletter deadline, made this silly little tribute to Facebook and our Facebook page fans ~ (are you one yet? If not, click here to check it out!)

here’s some of our latest fimo women FACES adorning one of our glue-on bracelet forms with a little dab of E6000. This latest batch makes us laugh as they’re a little crabby – not quite so smiley – kind of like Monday morning at the office with not enough coffee! Just the same, they still make us smile – enjoy!

Hope you've had as much fun reading this as we've had preparing this month's newsletter. Best crafting advice for May ~ approach your deadlines with a healthy dose of humor and enjoy the moment!
